Frequently Asked Questions

If I registered for class last semester, do I need to register again this semester?

Yes, we ask all dancers register at the beginning of each semester so we have the most up-to-date attendance for each class. We also ask that you register BEFORE you take class so we can adequately prepare for each class.

Should I register for the full semester or drop-in?

If you plan to be in class for the full 20-week semester, we recommend selecting “Full 20-Week Semester” upon registration. Students needing to split payment may do so by paying 50% of their total tuition by Monday, January 12th and their second payment by Sunday, March 1st. Please indicate if you will be splitting your payment in the registration notes. ***Full 20-week semester students ONLY. Not available to those starting after Sunday, March 1st.***

Drop-In classes are recommended for those who are unable to commit to attending the full 20-week semester. Payment for drop-in classes will be accepted at the front desk when you arrive for class.

If I’m a drop-in student, do I need to re-register for class each time I drop in?

No, if you registered as a “Drop-in”, you do not need to re-register each time you come to class! As long as you registered before your first class, we know that you’re enrolled in class and you are welcome to come dance! We just ask that check in with the front desk when you arrive.

Which Tap class should I take?

We encourage those with little to no tap experience to take Tap I. Tap II is for those with roughly 3 years of tap experience. Tap III is our most challenging tap class and is recommended to dancers with 5 or more years of tap experience.

I’ve never taken a dance class before. Will these classes be too challenging for me?

Our “All Levels” and “Beginner” classes are designed to meet the needs of all dancers in the room. We will break down technique and choreography to ensure all dancers feel comfortable. Our “Intermediate” and “Advanced” classes are for experienced dancers looking for a challenge.

Can I join class mid-semester or should I wait until next semester?

We welcome new dancers at all times in the semester! However, if you do join in the middle of the semester or towards the end of the semester, please be aware that we will spend less class time teaching technique and choreography as we will be preparing for our annual showcases.

Do I have to perform in the showcase at the end of the semester?

Participation in our showcases is completely optional! We encourage all dancers to take classes all semester even if they do not plan to participate in the showcase.
