Full Expression! Front Desk Application

Full Expression! is looking for folks to join our Front Desk Staff under the management of Associate Collective Director Ashley Walters! 

Full Expression! Mission:

Full Expression! is a collective dedicated to creating more safe and equitable experiences through movement, education, and community investment. We are a values forward organization prioritizing safety, equity, and authenticity. 

Front Desk Staff members are expected to work 1-2 days per week during class hours, including weekends. Front Desk Staff members will not be asked to work week day afternoons unless special accommodations are made. 

This role is open to Full Expression! Collective Members ages 18+. 

Compensation:

Front Desk Staff members will receive 50% off dance classes each semester. 

Front Desk Staff Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Greeting dancers and visitors
  • Checking in dancers and accepting payment for each class
  • Maintaining a clean lobby
  • Stocking snacks in the lobby
  • Filming class content for social media and rehearsal purposes
  • Front desk staff will be the first point of contact for all volunteer needs (event volunteers, distribution of events marketing. Etc)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Always represent our mission of creating more safe and equitable experiences for dancers through movement, education, and community investment.
  • Adherence to attendance policy 
  • Be a resource to our students and visitors through communication, breaking down barriers, and assisting when necessary.
  • Maintain appropriate relationships with all students, contract workers, and leaders. This means no intimate relationships, distributing drugs/alcohol to minors, or any other behavior that would put a student, yourself, or the studio in a compromising/dangerous position.
  • Full Expression! Is a sober space unless otherwise noted and an alcohol permit has been acquired. Drugs and alcohol are not permitted in the Full Expression! studio. 
  • Full Expression! staff members cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while working their shift as it presents a liability to other members of the collective as well as the studio itself. 
  • Respond to all communication in a timely manner. Strive to acknowledge any important and sensitive material within 48-hours.
  • Protect private information about dancers, staff members, and guests of the studio.
